Possible crash of the world stock markets in 2023
In January 2020, when the pandemic had not yet been declared, we uploaded an article to the blog where we mentioned that a pandemic could occur given the similarity of the astrological aspects between the Spanish Flu of 1918 and the situation at that time.
In addition, in another article published in August 2019 we mentioned the possibility of a ‘Global Institutional Crisis’ starting in January 2020 given the astrological aspects that were going to occur.
And boy was there a global institutional crisis! From the economy, health, travel and so on, it was chaos from which we are still recovering.
These previous articles are mentioned, since the analysis that follows is based on comparing astrological aspects of the past and significant events worldwide that can be related today. You can talk about the high probability of a given result; the difficult thing is to define what triggers it and when it happens.
An economic collapse can occur for different reasons. As it happened in 2008, because of years of mismanagement of mortgages in the United States, it can be caused by a great war, a significant natural disaster and other events that affect the normal functioning of commerce, government institutions, politics and so on.
In 1929 there was what is known as ‘the crash of 29’, where the United States stock market had a significant drop in its value, which spread throughout the world and resulted in the Great Depression.
The analysis that follows is based on the comparison of the eclipses that occurred in 1929 and those that will occur in 2023.
On May 9, 1929, an eclipse of the Sun occurred with the following characteristics. For those who are not clear about how both the eclipses of the Sun and the Moon work, the link that explains it is attached.
The eclipse of the Sun by itself may or may not have consequences, this will depend on the aspects between the planets that are present during the eclipse.
The solar eclipse occurred in the sign of Taurus. The ruler of the sign of Taurus is Venus and it is associated with the 2nd house, of income.
Venus has to do with money, harmony, and beauty among others.
During the eclipse, Venus was in a hard aspect to Pluto and Mars. Pluto, which is identified as the phoenix bird, is death and resurrection. Not in the aspect of physical death but of transformation. Mars on the other hand, which is identified with war, fire, and iron, badly aspected, generates destructive energy.
The eclipse of the Sun as such acts as a trigger for energy generated by the planets involved. The aspects of Venus undoubtedly channeled that energy and activated restrictive processes as far as money is concerned.
All the energetic aspects of planetary transits, such as eclipses, can take time to manifest, but without a doubt something will materialize as a result.
The stock market crash that occurred during 1929 took 25 years to recover to return to previous values. That is how important the fall was and the economic deterioration that occurred.
On November 1st, 1929, the second solar eclipse of the year occurred, this time in the sign of Scorpio, identified with Pluto and house VIII, which is identified with earnings other than work (such as earnings in stock values).
During that eclipse, Pluto was square Venus and Mercury. Mercury rules commerce, travel, and communication.
October 28 and 29, 1929 are known as ‘Black Monday and Tuesday’ due to the significant fall in the stock market.
This was the beginning of the great loss of money in the stock market, followed by the panic of people who began to sell their shares, to the point that, at certain times, when there were offers for the sale of shares, there were no buyers for them.
The result of this was that many companies collapsed, and millions of people lost their jobs and were left on the streets. This had worldwide repercussions.
Now let’s fast forward in time and position ourselves in the year 2023.
On April 20, 2023, there is an eclipse of the Sun right at the edge between the signs of Aries and Taurus. This eclipse has a similar square to the previous ones that occurred in 1929 between the Sun, the Moon and Pluto. Venus for its part, although it does not intervene in that aspect, its square to Saturn.
Saturn rules both government and corporate structures. Saturn is responsibility and order. An opposition with Venus speaks of a restrictive energy to what Venus rules, in addition to the potent energy of change that occurs between the eclipse and Pluto.
The following Solar eclipse occurs on October 14th, 2023, in the sign of Libra. There is a bad aspect of the eclipse with Neptune (deception) and Uranus (change) and an opposition of Saturn with Venus is addition, which may indicate a climax point in this process.
If we see how the events occurred in the crash of 1929, although during the year there were moments of volatility in the stock market, the worst occurred a few days before the second solar eclipse on November 1st.
If something similar were to happen in 2023, we could say that from April 20 to around mid-October, people should pay attention to the movement of the stock market.
Let’s hope that history does not repeat itself, but it is worth mentioning that there are astrological aspects that would make it possible.
