EGO’s Controlled Demolition
You don’t have to wait for a catastrophic crisis to awaken. Learn how to use astrological cycles to initiate a “controlled demolition” of the ego, stepping out of the rat race and into your true consciousness.
The main purpose of our blog and our school is to raise consciousness and provide information and techniques so you can take control of your life and change your path from survival mode managed by the EGO to a center balance where your power is 50-50 between EGO and Consciousness.
We use astrology as a tool that drives the process.
Let’s be clear on something, on earth with the conditions that exist, nothing is 100%. The development of consciousness has the purpose to diminish the power of the EGO but never to the point of killing it, because nobody could survive the environment we live in without it.
If you focus 100% on your physical aspects, no doubt you are driven by your ego. It’s very easy to identify this in our society by looking at the mainstream culture of actors, musicians, politicians, and corporate CEOs. In many of these arenas, the overarching drive is to gain money, fame, and power. That’s their only and final objective.
These individuals belong to a segment of society that in the name of aiding you in some shape or form, they are chasing a carrot they can never reach. That’s why alcohol, drugs, and plastic surgery are so common to keep them current; they need additional aid to keep going forward in that never ending race.
For the rest of the common people, they try to mirror the life of this group by following trends they promote and losing their identities in the process. The Ego will tell you that if you cut your hair in certain way, or if you get the same tattoo they have, or if you follow them in social media just to mention some trivialities, you will somehow be part of that group.
Carl Jung’s aphorism is key to understanding what we are saying. “Who looks outside dreams, who looks inside awakes”.
If your life is centered in the outside world and you use it as your only mirror, you are in a dream. It is not you; it’s something else. But your Ego will tell you that you are doing fine, because you are similar to everyone else.
If you add to that scenario that your sole purpose is to achieve certain objectives which will consume most of your effort and time, just to show your name or look for fame or power within your limited circle, even if you don’t have a million followers in social media, you are a reflection of the group mentioned before. You are 100% driven by your Ego, just like they are.
There are different ways to get out of the rat race mentioned, some under your control and some others just happen. Some will work under a controlled demolition and some because of a crisis.
Let’s mention the one very well documented and real. People who were declared dead or went through an extreme life-threatening circumstance and they survived. For some unexplained reason they left the life they were living and changed their path 180 degrees. We can say that was it died in that process was the ego, because it lost control.
Some left their professions, some left what they had and started living a completely different life, focusing on helping others by sharing their experiences as an example of change.
The question we need to ask is if you must pass through a similar situation before you realize that you are not living your true life, but somebody else’s.
The answer is no; you can be in control of the changes in your life.
From the astrological perspective we are going to mention 3 triggers that can help you understand why cycles can provoke change without your control.
The Saturnian Collapse: Because Saturn builds the structures of our lives, its heavy transits often bring the crises of limitation, consequences, and profound loss. When the physical structures the ego built (a career, a marriage, a status) are stripped away, the person is forced to find an identity that exists *outside* of the physical world.
The Uranian Shock: While Saturn grinds things down, Uranus operates as the lightning bolt of sudden, unpredictable change, a catastrophic accident, the out-of-the-blue loss. With Uranus currently moving through Gemini, we see how these sudden shocks specifically shatter the ego’s mental frameworks and dualistic thinking. The mind’s rigid narrative of “how life is supposed to be” is destroyed instantly, forcing a radical, immediate awakening.
The Plutonian Rebirth: Pluto governs the exact scenarios mentioned: near-death experiences, the absolute destruction of the old self, and the underworld journeys. Pluto transits force the individual to face their deepest psychological shadows and the reality of death, burning away anything that is not their eternal consciousness.
The difference between demolition and collapse is timing.
These transits are not random; their dates are calculable years in advance. When you know a Saturn or Pluto transit is coming, you can ask what you would release voluntarily, and dismantle the structure yourself, on your own schedule, instead of standing inside it when it comes down.
In our school we work through that process in detail, and Astrological Coaching is a practical way to apply it to your own chart.
As you can see, astrology has answers to the migration process from absolute ego to a center ego-consciousness balance.
The Ego is necessary and that’s why it is there, but as with everything else in life, balance is the key to development. An excess of ego can have the same consequences as an overdose of any drug. You may not come back from that.
