End of Cycle
We may be experiencing an end of a cycle, which could be of an era, a civilization, or any other form that signifies a radical change from what we know today. This process begins in September 2025 with the respective lunar and solar eclipses and reaches its climax on January 18, 2026, when the results of this end of the cycle will be seen.
The lunar eclipse on September 7, 2025, has aspects that could be considered positive. Lunar eclipses activate internal processes, touching and activating energetic mechanisms that are present in each of us, whether we are conscious of them or they are in the unconscious. This is a good period for introspection, internal analysis, and seeking solutions to old problems or patterns you want to overcome. On a personal level, the houses involved in the natal chart provide clues about which parts of our being are activated.
The planetary aspects are mentioned very briefly to focus on the effects they produce.
The energies activated in this eclipse are as follows:
The presence of Pluto in harmonious aspects indicates that this eclipse can activate internal processes related to releasing old patterns and transforming identity or fundamental beliefs.
Uranus encourages rapid changes and new perspectives, fostering awakening or greater consciousness.
The energies of Virgo and Pisces point to a focus on healing, self-care, and spiritual connection.
Saturn provides a framework of responsibility and structure, helping to consolidate changes in a practical and realistic way.
Neptune in these aspects indicates that internal processes may relate to spiritual exploration, dreams, and deep intuitions.
On a personal level, all this signifies a profound internal analysis and an opportunity for deep change and leaving behind past issues, traumas and wrong believes.
Globally, it appears as a moment of culmination, closure, or liberation in collective and social issues. The focus is on changes in structures, patterns, and processes affecting groups, communities, or even humanity.
What each person experiences on a personal level will be reflected globally. Depending on which actions each one takes, that will be the direction each person’s future path will follow. Remember that you always have the final say in what you think, say, or do.
The lunar eclipse marks the beginning, followed by the solar eclipse on September 21, coinciding with the autumnal equinox in the northern hemisphere and spring in the southern hemisphere.
The solar eclipse has aspects that generate energies manifesting in our external reality, different from the lunar eclipse, which activates internal energies and patterns.
The eclipse occurs at the last degree of Virgo entering Libra, generating very powerful energies.
The opposition between Virgo and Pisces with the Sun, Moon, and Mercury opposite Saturn and Neptune suggests a conflict between the concrete, perfection, and details, and spiritual or illusionary aspirations.
It may manifest as challenges in social structures and beliefs. The opposition indicates tension between traditional structures and the desire for freedom or spiritual innovation. The prevailing energy might activate the need to adjust social or legal structures that no longer serve, in a context where reality and illusion confront each other.
Abrupt ending or deep examinations in personal relationships, finances, or cultural values may happen. Overly rigid structures or relationships may be affected.
Uranus-Venus also favors revolutionary movements in how societies manage resources, relationships, and culture, impacting stability and collective values.
Mars-Pluto indicates internal or social tension related to emotional power, protection, and aggression, which can manifest crises, conflicts, or collective power or social movements.
This square suggests a struggle to free repressed energy and activates new forms of power and control in society. It affects both society and everyone on a personal level.
These two September eclipses first activate the internal processes mentioned, and then, after two weeks, begin to manifest externally if they haven’t already done so.
But this is not the end of the cycle. The cycle ends in January with planetary aspects that are unprecedented; to have a similar planetary positioning involving Pluto (death and regeneration), we would have to go at least 240 years, and no similar aspects have been found in previous research. We might even say this event is unique.
On January 18, 2026, the following aspects will happen:
Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Pluto in conjunction between Capricorn (structures) and Aquarius (information), trine Uranus (technology), sextile Saturn (structures), and Neptune (spirituality), and opposing Jupiter (growth, abundance).
For those familiar with astrology, these aspects are a rarity, perhaps even of a ‘magical’ characteristic. For those unfamiliar with astrology, just knowing that these aspects haven’t occurred in centuries will surely spark curiosity.
The interpretation of the energy generated by these aspects, combined with the fact that it occurs during a New Moon (beginnings), is what leads us to declare an end of cycle and the beginning of something new. It is neither good nor bad. It is simply something that ends and something new that begins.
Government structures as well as religious organizations as we know them could be question or could fall, giving way to greater direct participation by the population and moving toward a more participatory approach at the individual level.
During the eclipse period and into January, we should not dismiss the possibility of an escalation in active military conflicts, the fall of the current global financial system, countries disowning their external debts, issues related to religions that would prompt a reevaluation of how they are managed and expressed, and other global known structures of which we are part.
The energy of change being generated is so strong that nothing can be ruled out.
This massive conjunction in January 2026 is a very important astrological event that could mark the beginning of a new era.
The September 2025 eclipses seem to be the start of a transformation process that culminates or accelerates with this conjunction. It is a moment of great challenges, but also of great opportunities.
What manifests in the skies (above) is reflected on Earth (below).
