Uranus in Gemini
On July 7th Uranus will enter the sign of Gemini. It will stay in the sign until 2032. The last time this transit occurred was between 1942 and 1949, and that was a period of great upheaval and big changes in the world.
In 1939 armed conflicts started in Europe which latter developed into was we know as the 2nd World War, The State of Israel was created as well as the United Nations and the beginning of the cold war between the United States and the Soviet Union.
At the present time we have several armed conflicts in the world, not to different to what started in 1939. Even if is not declared openly, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which supposedly is between two countries, the US, the European Union and North Korea are involved in some way. Similar situation with the war between Israel and Iran, other countries are involved.
From the political point of view, governments have learned to name conflicts in a different way that 100 years ago. Before there were war declarations by governments, now they are just “military operations”.
You can call it what you like, buy when bombs and missiles are dropping from the sky and people are dying, regardless of what you can call it, the consequences are the same.
Can we expect things to get better? In my opinion they will not.
Pluto did its job losing all the screws that were holding the previous outdated structures. It affected governments, multinationals institutions and corporations, and even the family structure. In case you wonder, did you realize the drop in the number of couples getting married compared with the number just going to live together? That’s a change in the family structure from the “legal point of view”.
Who provides the license to get married? An institution. either from the government or a religion. Avoiding this administrative step, people are ignoring the institutions.
It is happening in front of our eyes, people are fed up with institutions telling them what to do or when to do it. This is one of the consequences of Pluto leaving Capricorn which rules structures and institutions.
Now comes Uranus in Gemini.
Uranus: Represents innovation, change, rebellion, awakening, and the unexpected. It disrupts the status quo and pushes for progress.
Gemini: Governs communication, information, technology, learning, adaptability, and local community.
What to expect:
Communication & Information: Expect revolutions in how we communicate, share information, and learn. This could manifest as breakthroughs in AI-driven communication tools, social media platforms, and online education.
Technology: A surge of innovation in mobile technology, short-distance travel (like electric scooters or personal drones), and interconnected devices.
Social Interactions: Changes in how we connect with our local communities, possibly with new platforms for local organizing or shifts in how we perceive and interact with our neighbors.
Mental Landscapes: A period of intellectual excitement, but also potential mental overwhelm from information overload. There could be challenges related to misinformation and the ethical use of new technologies.
Information Overload: Difficulty discerning truth from falsehood in a rapidly changing information landscape.
Technological Dependence: Over-reliance on technology and the potential consequences of disruptions.
Social Fragmentation: Increased polarization and division fueled by misinformation or echo chambers.
Ethical Dilemmas: Navigating the ethical implications of new technologies, especially in areas like AI and data privacy.
At the personal level, this transit will affect individuals differently based on their personal natal charts, and because when this transit happened before, you cannot go back in your life to understand what effects it could have on you.
Either evaluate your natal chart and check aspects that Uranus will have with natal planets and what houses are involved. At least you will know what areas of your life will be impacted.
This is not a transit that will pass unnoticed, as when Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008-2009. Did you or someone you know lost their house then? Be prepared for what’s coming, it’s all related to change, and it cannot be stopped. What’s outdated completed its cycle. Make room for the new…
