The VI house is related to work and health. In this case we are going to do an analysis of a real natal chart, but only from a health point of view.
We could say that when there are planets in the VI house the issue of health takes some preponderance, since, beyond the fact that there may be complicated transits of heavy planets such as Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto through the 6th house, it will depend on the aspects that these make with the other planets in the natal chart, to mark a complicated period of health. This complication could last only as long as the transits are in effect.
On the other hand, when there are natal planets in the VI house, not only do these denote that one already have some problems from birth, but also that during life the native will go through more complicated periods. This happens when the heavy planets make hard aspects such as conjunction, square, opposition and quincunx to these natal planets in house VI.
To add one more level of complexity, depending on which planets and the zodiacal sign(s) present in the VI house, this will be another aspect to evaluate related to the health of the person. Each planet and zodiacal sign correspond to an aspect of health or part of the human body.
Through a genetic study of DNA, we know that a person is born with some health challenge, or that they could be prone to contracting a certain disease during life. This is due to the genetic inheritance that the person has, which can come from the parents or a direct family ancestor.
In the case that we analyze today, the person has had a genetic study carried out and the objective is to see what coincidences can be found between the results of the study and the analysis of the natal chart.
In the workshop “Astrology in the 21st Century”, one of the articles we shared talked about which came first, the chicken or the egg. That article had the purpose of analyzing things from a pragmatic point of view, trying to leave the ego out of the equation. Nothing easy to do.
We discussed this topic in the workshop to be able to understand that many things that happen to us depend on our actions. We are taught to always look for someone to blame for the things that happen to us, but if we understand ourselves and the cycles of life we go through, we will see that everything really depends on us and our attitude towards things. The others will only be actors who will represent in some way the energy that we ourselves generate.
If a person has a possible heart problem in their genetic analysis, and in the birth chart they have a Sun in Leo with some complicated aspect, they are only telling us that this is so, without blaming anyone, without putting the person as a victim, but only to see what is the ‘reality’ that that person has. Throughout life, the heart will be an area to consider regarding care priorities in terms of diet, physical activity, and others, since it is the person’s Achilles heel. It’s neither good nor bad, it’s just that way. The person is responsible for overseeing the actions taken to counteract the problem or the natal condition.
We are talking about a condition existing in the natal chart, or if you want to see from a genetic point of view, what the person brings from the ancestors. It is the evolution and development of consciousness that allows us to partially counteract the disadvantages that one can bring to when born.
But first we really need to know ourselves before we can take action.
Next, we see what the planets and zodiacal sign of the natal chart in question tell us regarding problems that may be related to health (house VI)

Feelings of rebellion

Sun square Moon (both outside the 6th house but of greater impact)
Imbalance between what is thought, said and what is done. The Sun is the externalization of the person’s energies while the Moon governs internal processes.
When there is energy such as a square, the external and internal processes are not always aligned. One thing is what the person wants to do, and another thing is what he/she thinks it should do. There is a fight between these two parts.
Rationalization of this condition and inner work can help counteract this natal energy. Let us remember that we do not necessarily have to leave this plane in the conditions we arrived at. There is the evolution of consciousness that leads to better management of both positive and negative energies.
Pluto conjunction with the Sun
Pluto conjunct the Sun offers the possibility of regeneration. This can happen consciously or due to external events, which force the person to change.
The person with this aspect has infinite energy at their disposal, they are connected to the source of the universe. This can make a person anything from tyrannical to the ability to create movements of social change. Energy is present in abundance, how it is used depends on the development of each person’s consciousness.
This energy must be used first to achieve changes in oneself personally and then transmit this knowledge to others.
Pluto square the Moon
Pluto in squaring the Moon generates an energy that can completely transform the person from within, but not before going through great problems that can even question the justification of one’s own existence.
Pluto reaches to the deepest part of the being, since Pluto rules the sign of Scorpio, through the internal processes of the person. At times everything may be seen dark, with no way out, without objectives, and these are the moments that should be used to separate the chaff from the wheat and really discard what is of no use, both from oneself and from the environment.
If we analyze the conjunction of Pluto with the Sun and the square with the Moon together, it can be said that the internal changes will come from external events that change the way of how life is seen. On other occasions, the person is the one who analyzes oneself and reaches this realization with internal work, but in this case this process is activated by external conditions.
Chiron in the 12th house (Subconscious) opposite Uranus (generational aspect)
Low self-esteem and feelings of inadequacy
Chiron in the 12th house is a placement that can bring many challenges, but also many opportunities for growth and healing. The 12th house is associated with the aspects of the unconscious, spirituality, and the hidden part of the self.
The presence of Chiron here may indicate a deep wound or feeling of isolation related to these areas.
People with Chiron in the 12th house may feel disconnected from the world around them or may have difficulty accessing their own intuition and inner wisdom. They may also tend to self-sabotage or adopt self-destructive behaviors as a way of coping with their pain.
Conclusions:
The person doing the consultation agreed that the genetic study provides similar information to the analysis of the natal chart.
Let’s add that by doing genetic analysis there are also recommendations on how to overcome the DNA challenges. Astrology can only provide diagnostic information.
