The next few months will define our future[wpedon id=”12836″ align=”right”]

The next few months are pivotal; they will shape our future. Experience teaches us that living through events is vastly different from merely hearing about them. Similarly, history shows us that the impact of significant events can be profound and enduring, often unfolding over years.

Consider the independence of the United States on July 4, 1776, and Argentina on July 9, 1816. Despite declaring independence from the English and Spanish kingdoms respectively, both nations faced prolonged struggles before gaining recognition. The United States waited seven years, while Argentina endured 43 years before their independence was fully acknowledged.

Today, we are accustomed to immediate results, yet significant changes often take time. Even with our advanced technology, certain processes—like gestating a baby—still require nine months. There are cycles beyond our control that govern these developments.

When we speak of the coming months defining our future, we draw parallels from history. Capricorn influences economic and governmental structures, among others. As Pluto enters Capricorn, a period of transformation in these areas begins, indicating that these structures have reached a critical juncture.

The last time Pluto entered Capricorn in 1762, discontent in the British colonies in North America grew, since they did not accept the high taxes imposed nor the abusive treatment of the English rulers, which eventually led to independence.
A new idea of government, which was an evolution from what the Greeks discovered a millennia before, brought massive change in the daily lives of ordinary people. This change, whether we recognize it or not, is the system which under we live today.

By December 2008 Pluto returned to the sign of Capricorn, 246 years had passed since its previous time. It was during the period 2008-2009 that the global financial crisis occurred.
This can be interpreted that the global financial system, like globalization, has already completed its useful life cycle and needed a replacement.
As we previously mentioned on several occasions, governments (structures ruled by Capricorn) took the wrong measures and with the indiscriminate issuance of currency they tried to keep alive a system that had already completed its life cycle. Not very different from when we saw the struggles for independence, where empires continue sending ships and soldiers trying to contain the rebellions.
But from the astrological point of view, it was already indicated that the die was cast. It was a process of change that could not be stopped.

The various interventions of central banks from 2009 to date trying to keep the economy afloat have failed, seeing the deterioration of the economy of the general population and the increase in global poverty indicators. The transfer of wealth at a global level only led to an imbalance, where very few benefited at the expense of the majority.
The measures taken by governments in general in the face of the pandemic only aggravated the situation. Another proof that the power structures at the national and global level, as they are, no longer serve their purposes.

Looking ahead, Pluto will leave Capricorn by the end of 2024, moving into Aquarius. This shift may catalyze significant upheavals in financial systems, compelling global leaders to adapt to new realities and prioritize the needs of the populace over entrenched interests. The French revolution is a good example of what happens when people get tired of their leaders when they are out of touch with reality.

The upcoming period marks Pluto’s solar return in the United States’ astrological chart, coinciding with other challenging transits like the opposition of Neptuno to the US natal chart, in addition to the solar eclipse of October 2nd, 2024, suggesting a period of profound change and uncertainty. Similar astrological alignments preceded major historical shifts, such as the decline of empires and revolutions in the late 1700s.

Almost half of the world will attend voting stations in 2024. Seventy countries are called to the polls. In total, the governments and institutions of almost four billion people will be renewed, including India, the United States and in the European Union.
It may be that the results of these elections are an indicator of the changes that are foreseen.

The era of Aquarius looms, promising a departure from the past. What emerges from these changes remains uncertain, but as history shows, periods of upheaval often pave the way for transformative innovations and societal progress.

Just be prepared for the change.

  1. One of your best essays, thank you! Maybe you’ll write more on this subject? Any predictions? There’s probably so much to say that you could write another book, and I’d buy a copy.
