Secret Societies – Part 1
Throughout history we hear about secret societies and stories that have been created some close to reality and others so far from truth that are closer to sci-fi.
The first thing that we need to ask about secret societies is, what’s their purpose. Why do they need to be secret and outside of general knowledge?
What we must consider is that secret societies are composed of regular human beings. They are not extraterrestrials. Since ancient time rulers have surrounded themselves with a group of advisers, just like today, that they provide information from different sources. It’s a way rulers can maintain their power and by not sharing this knowledge with the general population they maintain their information advantage. They try to be always ahead of the game. They know what could happen before it happens.
That’s why astrologers, mathematicians, mediums and people that knew about alchemical processes had privileges in the power structure. To continue being part of this elite group they had to provide good results.
To belong to this group of people they had to be initiated. What in today’s words, they had to pass the “security clearance” and swear loyalty. For what we know, anybody that broke their word most probably ended up dead or in prison, not different than today.
This practice was known from ancient Egypt where the initiate had to pass first seven tests, some physical and some of character, to become a priest. The priest in Egypt where the ones that knew about so many subjects that they were involved in the day-to-day decision making of the pharaoh.
Going down in history we know about the geometrical and mathematical secrets that master masons knew to be able to construct the cathedrals they built. That knowledge was not openly shared. It was managed by a group of selected and initiated people, most of them under control of the church.
The initiation of a Jesuits priest is different to the other lines within the catholic church. A structure built to solve a 16th-century problem (distance, slow information, urgent Counter-Reformation deployment) that persists today more as tradition and internal hierarchy marker than as an operationally necessary shortcut. But just think that if there is an initiation and only those who complete full formation go through a 4th oath, we can establish that there is information between that line of priesthood that is contained within that level and not shared with the rest. Those who take the 4th vow swear loyalty directly to the Pope, differently than the other priests, it’s something hard to overlook.
Published in 1960 (English translation 1963), “The Morning of the Magicians” by Louis Pauwels and Jacques Bergier, mention the Thule Society (proto-Nazi occultist group) and the Vril Society, during the Second World War, in Germany. This has never been confirmed, but why does this information even come out. What was its purpose?
Supposedly, the purpose of the Vril Society was to channel information (it is not clear from where) that after receiving it, was analyzed by German scientist working for the government. The group of women had no idea what information they were obtaining. This could explain why Germany was so advance, out of its time, on the development of rockets, airplanes, tanks, weapons and the rest. It may be that they were not smarter, or more advanced, but that they were obtaining privileged information from somewhere else.
Every religion has the regular doctrine for the general public and the secret doctrine for those initiates. There is an important part to consider. Not everyone in a secret society has access to everything, there are levels. The structure of a secret society is broken by level of knowledge and expertise. No different to any other organization like government, commercial or religious institutions.
What we need to understand, and we have written articles about it, is that information gives power. That’s why certain information is not accessed easily, and instead, information for entertainment, gossip, fake news are so abundant. That is a way to keep people asleep, numb, out of touch with reality while other parts of society consume real information and obtain power.
People in management of social media corporations educate their children out of social media, computers and electronic distractions that the rest of the population consume. Now you can understand the reason. Good information is power, other information is entertainment. During the presidency of Obama, a law was passed allowing government-run foreign broadcasts (like Voice of America) to be viewed by Americans domestically. This could be a problem or not, but who can guarantee that any future government can use this as weaponized information and propaganda within their own citizens?
