The Calm Before the Storm

The Calm Before the Storm

I am going to share a personal feeling that could be within the possibilities of the near future, or it could simply be my imagination on overdrive.

I feel that we are at a pivotal moment in human development. Ahead of us, not very far away, we have two paths to take: one of elevation of consciousness and the other of extinction.

At this moment, when it seems that life goes on as always, that work, household chores, family routines, and everything else are as they always have been and will continue to be in the future, I have the feeling that it is not so. That it is quite the opposite, that from one day to the next everything we do daily will be impacted by events beyond our control, changing what we do and even how we think.

Human beings try to reassure themselves in their existence by thinking that tomorrow will be the same as today. We already know, especially those of us on the path of self-discovery, that each day we are different from who we were yesterday. Saying ‘I am like this’ or ‘this is who I am’ is simply an excuse not to be afraid of tomorrow. But what guarantees that tomorrow will be the same as today? The answer is that nothing and no one can guarantee it.

I use astrology to understand if what I feel is real or is imagination. It has served me in the past and should serve me now.

Why do I feel what I feel? Why am I thinking that our reality is going to change radically?

In the United States, the new “Uncle Elon” from a few months ago suddenly leaves the government because he disagrees with the spending policy being pushed. Who would have thought that just a few months ago?

In Europe, for the first time since World War II, the possibility of German soldiers being stationed in another country is being considered. The war between Ukraine and Russia, even though it is no longer in the headlines, continues and is getting worse. The situation between Israel and Iran is like an explosive with a fuse of unknown length, but it seems to be lit.

Returning to astrology, Uranus entering the sign of Gemini in the first week of July is a topic to consider in all of this.

If we look at history, a similar transit occurred in 1942 when World War II gained momentum. Before that, in the United States, there was the Civil War between the North and the South, and before that, it was during the struggle for independence from the United Kingdom.

In the United States, there was also recently Pluto’s return and the opposition of Neptune. These transits activated energies that are clearly seen in the current situation of the country.

Pluto’s entry into the sign of Aquarius speaks of a different and open way to access information. Coincidentally, ChatGPT became known with the first entry of Pluto into the sign, then went retrograde, and now is direct.

But apart from opening the information to everyone, Pluto in Aquarius speaks of communities, of people who group together with a common purpose. This can be at a neighborhood, city, or even provincial or state levels with a move to become independent from the central government.

Pluto, as it passed through the sign of Capricorn, which governs structures and all types of governments, made it clear that democracy as we know it no longer works; it has completed its cycle. Corruption is exposed for all to see, but sometimes people defend what’s indefensible just because their choice of political candidate is being targeted. The moment comes to be honest with oneself and stop grouping together for the sole purpose of defending the ego or pursuing causes without substance.

These transits that are active or are about to become active will change things in a radical way. World War II saw horror in Nagasaki and Hiroshima with the use of atomic weapons. It was there when the Pandora’s box of current civilization was opened. At this moment, the world leaders who oversee carrying forward the destinies of humanity are part of the same system that is already obsolete. War would be both the end of them and part of humanity.

The planets are indicating it; if we consider our history, we may stumble over the same stone this time, but this time it is immense. The difference at this moment is that the weapons they have are of massive destruction and leave terrible future consequences like Japan and Chernobyl.

I hope my feeling is just that and does not materialize. The consequences if a global war happen could have the characteristics of an extinction event.

The planets mark the course, but the rudder is managed by our state of consciousness.
