Complicated Relationships
In a recent article from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) the reporter comments on the use of Artificial Intelligence to decide where she is going to go for her honeymoon, which will occur in a few months.
While this may raise eyebrows, there is enough information available that this should not surprise anyone.
Meta (former Facebook) patented a couple of years ago a program that ‘predicts’ where one is going to go on vacation. Although for ordinary people this would seem to be just a curiosity, the economic potential of this program has no limits. Who is interested in such functionality? The large international groups that market tourist packages, as well as for booking hotels, flights, car rentals and more.
The first premise that we must consider is that we are ‘predictable’. If you think otherwise, just look back at your life and see how many times you have gone through a similar situation in your life, whether with family, friends, at work and so on.
Although a situation is rarely repeated exactly as it was before, they are repeated within a context.
This is seen very clearly in astrological consultations in relation to a partner. I frequently hear the phrase: ‘How can it be that I enter into a relationship with someone with similar behavior patterns (conflictive) as the previous one, and the relationships ends badly’.
The person who is saying it is the same, the others mentioned in previous relationships were different people.
Rarely does the person realize that it’s repeating the same pattern of behavior, and in consequence leads to a similar result.
If we go to that person’s natal chart, it is more than likely that it will have a complicated Pluto, Neptune or Venus aspect, just to mention that as an example. Any of these aspects can lead the person to act in a certain way but if the pattern repeats, then we are talking about a person that does not evolve.
In other words, the person stumbles over the same stone more than once. Let’s be objective, could it be the fault of the stone that is there without moving, or is it the person’s fault for not recognizing what happened with the stone the first time and seeing how to avoid it in the future?
Returning to the topic of whether artificial intelligence can schedule our honeymoon or anticipate where we are going to go on vacation, if we make a parallel with what was mentioned about personal relationships, the validity of the information in the natal chart and the definition that we are predictable, It shouldn’t surprise anyone.
Both Meta, Google, TikTok and other social networks have all our past information and artificial intelligence has access to that information, in addition to all the psychological, economic, political, preference and other. When this information is analyzed by algorithms, the result is that whoever is doing it know more about us than we do of ourselves. There will be things that happened years ago that we have already forgotten (but remain in our subconscious), but these were recorded somewhere and will be part of the evaluation.
The prediction is a simple result of complex algorithms. There is no magic, it’s just information processing.
Astrology determines our astrological DNA, the cycles and within the cycles the different energies through which we go through in life. If we use that information to work on ourselves, to know ourselves in depth, we can stop being predictable and we will no longer be so transparent to artificial intelligence or any other. Our daily actions and emotions are driven based on pure logic based on information and exchange of different energies, if we change our operating logic (our approach to life), the previous information will remain there but just as history and reference. It will not have the same value than before.
Artificial intelligence may have come to wake us up, to make us realize that we are little more than predictable automatons based on the sum of past behavior.
We have something that artificial intelligence does not have, which is consciousness, let’s make good use of it.
The natal chart is a good tool that can open us the possibility of self-knowledge and from that point, move forward in our personal development. It’s never too late to start.
